Status:
Phoenix Romanova is one of four elemental goddesses that serve and protect the Sovereign Reign of Euiya. The supreme god of Euiya, Acaria, is the one that "created" Phoenix and the other elemental goddesses. Each goddess is created depending on when mankind discovered a certain element on Euiya during the Evolution (similar to how humans evolved on Earth). The eldest is Earth, then Wind, Water, and Fire. Phoenix is the youngest of the goddesses, being a fire goddess.

A goddess is created by what is called a "crystal method". First the crystal is formed from whatever element the goddess is responsible for, then "materializes" into a human female form in a span of three days. At first glance, a goddess can look as if she was in her early twenties, but in actuality, a goddess can live for eternity.

The purpose of Phoenix's existence is to empower the element of fire and use it at her command whenever necessary. Because she is the youngest goddess, Phoenix has the ability to become a normal human being (each goddess is an elemental "spirit" in their original form).  Also, she is the goddess of Knowledge.

During her adventures of being a human, Phoenix learned about human behavior, such as how they live and how they deal with certain situations. Phoenix has always been fascinated on humans, so she made it somewhat of a hobby; to examine human behavior.

Phoenix's gift of being in human form became useful to her during the tail end of The Numan Wars. Phoenix soon found a mystical sword known as the Catalyst, the counterpart of Dobhran Tri'Andra's Mournebane sword, and soon learned to become a skilled fighter through the experience of fighting to help restore peace on Euiya. During the events of The Numan Wars, Phoenix became the "mother" of Aduris Gundam, an orphaned Numan, and teaches him to fight. Later on, Phoenix learned how to wield a talon, which is a throwing weapon similar to Xena's (Xena: Warrior Princess) chakrom.

Euiya soon became a peaceful solar system. Phoenix decided to take the chance to explore the "expanded" universe (Euiyaians believed that theirs is the only universe and whatever universe around them was expanded). Acaria at first wasn't sure that Phoenix should leave her duties of being a Sovereign Reign, but agreed to allow Phoenix to explore the universe.

It took Phoenix twenty years to reach the Seven Spheres (Lewis Smith's Seven Spheres Legend). There she becomes the Seven Spheres' goddess and meets her recent consort, Darken Blackangel.

Personality Traits:
When a person first gets to know Phoenix, they learn that she is wise beyond her years. Phoenix had learned to understand a human's perception of certain things and that everyone has an opinion on how they think of things. Phoenix has a good sense of fairness and justice. She loves her goddess "family" and friends dearly.

Because Phoenix understands humans so well, many people ask her for advice. She is always willing to help a person in need and will stand up for her friends as well as protect them from danger.

Though Phoenix knows a lot about humans, there is still things that she doesn't fully understand. Out of all of the human traits, Phoenix doesn't understand the concept of the human emotion called love (though Darken teaches her this in Seven Spheres Legend).

Even though Phoenix is a wise and gentle person, she can be scatterbrained at times when she is in a state of confusion or when she's depressed over something. During these times, Phoenix would much rather be alone, but always finds a time to talk about what's bothering her whenever she is ready to talk.

Phoenix's naive nature is unexpected. Most people would think that a goddess would be very solemn, but Phoenix tends to be quite cheerful and treats one like an old friend. Phoenix can also be quiet and shy around people depending on her mood.

Fighting Capabilities:
Phoenix's experience of fighting mainly came from fighting in wars and many years of training thereafter under the guidance of Shizamaru Tetsumura and Vor'Allen Myrelle. She learned to become skilled with the sword and any other bladed weapon. The Catalyst sword is her weapon of choice, though she can also wield daggers, knives, and other such weapons. She also learned how to wield a talon from one of her close friends in Euiya.

Phoenix's fighting style can be described as unyielding and unforgiving. Phoenix shows no mercy to an enemy and can finish them off quickly and easily. It was once said that Phoenix defeated a man twice the size as her with only a dagger.

There are other ablitites that Phoenix posesses that are reveiled later in Seven Spheres Legend.

Special Abilities:
Phoenix has learned many techniques over the years and uses these techniques within a certain event. Her special powers are the following:

Fire Spells (from weakest to strongest)-

Fireball: A swirl of fire no larger then a basketball forms into Phoenix's hands and is then projected towards her enemy. It's mainly used to stun an enemy.

Crescent Flare: In one swift movement, a flare of fire in a shape of a crescent appears in Phoenix's hand and is then projected towards an enemy. The movement is similar to Mai Shiranui's when she performs her Ryu-en-bu technique.

Sol Inferno: Phoenix summons fire from the depths of hell (hellfire) to damage enemies. If you ever played the Sega Genesis game, Master of Monsters, you'll know what I mean.

Suzaku Blast: Phoenix forms a shape of a firebird/phoenix with fire and then thrusts the fire shape towards her enemies. (Suzaku means red peacock/firebird in Japanese.)

Celestial Nova: By far, one of Phoenix's most powerful and deadliest of spells. This spell is so powerful, it can destroy a planet. Phoenix rarely uses this spell, and only uses it against a powerful enemy or as a finishing move (though she tones down the damage it makes so it won't destroy more then it needs to). Phoenix summons a great fire pillar from the sky with her claymore and in a swift movement, throws it down upon her ememy(ies). Just one burst can disintegrate an enemy within seconds.

Boost Techniques -

Chi Boost: Increases one's attack power.

Quick: Increases one's agility.

Shalese: Increases one's defense power.

Quilese: Increases one's dexterity.

If Phoenix wants to do a boost technique to multiple people, she says "Spread" after the technique (Chi Boost Spread, Shalese Spread, etc.).

Healing/Restorative Techniques -

Shirgen: Cures poisoning, unconsciousness or paralysis, and/or restores all health to one flatlined character.

Imadition: Restores most or all health to many active characters within a party.

Aura: Restores health to one active character.

Seppuku and Seppuku Spread: Special techniques that offer a life to save a character(s). When a life is given with Seppuku/Seppuku Spread, the character(s) who receives it recovers and gains the ultimate life power. Sense Phoenix is an immortal goddess, this doesn't affect her, and only uses this technique as a last resort. ("Seppuku" means "suicide" in Japanese)

Numbing Techniques -

Shuru: Causes enemies to age quickly and reduces attack strength.

Lethargic: Slows down enemy reaction time.

Outcast: Interferes with enemy nervous systems, resulting in unconsciousness.

Misc. Techniques -

Scan: Using her telepathic abilities, Phoenix uses this to check the vital signs of her friends and foes.

Telecast: Using her telepathic abilities, Phoenix uses this to read and broadcast her thoughts (is also known as MindSpeech). She also uses this technique to "probe" into a person's mind and collect any source of knowledge from that person.

Morf: Phoenix can shapeshift into any form she wishes either for camouflage or to help fight her enemies. Usually she'll shift into animals or inanimate objects.

Flight: Phoenix has the ability to fly by creating a fire aura in the shape of a phoenix. This is similar to the Phoenix's fire flight aura in the X-Men's The Phoenix Saga and The Dark Phoenix Saga.
